FAQS

GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • Antigua, Guatemala.

  • Though most of our participants are Gen Z and Millenials, we highly encourage any adult (+18 years) whether you’re a high school graduate or have kids or grandkids to attend FTU.

    All are welcome.

  • Through this training, you'll have the opportunity to witness how God is at work in different parts of the world and to be part of that work. You'll gain valuable skills that will help you become a better leader, communicator, and team player.

But it's not just about the training - get ready to embark on an overseas experience that will open your eyes to new cultures, languages, and ways of life. You'll have the chance to make new friends from all over the world and to be part of a community that's passionate about making a positive impact in the world.

And here's the best part - you'll be part of God's plan to bring hope and healing to places that need it the most. You'll witness firsthand how God is invading places on earth with hope for the future, and you'll have the privilege of being part of that transformation.

  • Check on our “APPLY” page to find costs for our different outreach locations.

  • At our organization, we believe that everyone has the potential to make a positive impact in the world, regardless of their background or experience. That's why we don't look for perfect Christians - our only qualification is a hunger to see God move and a desire to make a tangible impact in communities overseas.

Whether you're a seasoned missionary or just starting to explore mission work, we welcome you to join our program. We believe that everyone has something unique to contribute, and we're excited to see how God will work through you to bring hope and healing to people in need.

APPLICATIONS

  • Check our “Apply” page on our website. There you will find the proper application form you need to fill in online.

  • A $15 fee will be charged at the moment of submitting your application.

    Application fees are non-refundable.

  • Applications are generally open up until two months before heading for Outreach – but there are times when we reach capacity – so the earlier the better!

Please note that the application process may take some time, i.e. to receive your references back.

Please note if you are from a country other than the USA or Guatemala, you will need to apply far enough ahead of time to complete the passport/visa process.

  • We’ll let you know via email, and this will contain any further additional information you’ll need.

  • It can take up to 2 weeks for your application to be processed once submitted. If it’s already been this long and you haven’t heard back, double-check that you’ve paid any application fees, and your references have been returned,

If it’s been 2 weeks since you fully submitted your application and you haven’t received a response, we’re sorry! Please email us:

    info@fortheunreached.org

  • We thoroughly evaluate each application to determine if this is the most suitable time and location for the candidate. In cases where an applicant is currently utilizing or has recently ceased using illicit drugs, we may not be the most appropriate organization to assist them, as there are other ministries better equipped to provide aid in such situations.
